100-Hour Immersion

The 100-hr Anusara Yoga Immersion is for anyone interested in yoga!  I also call this course From Worrier to Warrior! because it draws upon the wisdom of yoga that is thousands of years old and helps each individual clarify their life's vision and mission. Take it as a stand alone course or as a prerequisite for the Anusara Yoga 200-Hr Teacher Training!

Offered in Park City, Utah as a journey into into deeper study, its designed to support students of all levels, ages and backgrounds in coming together in learning and sharing. Its an ideal course for any student of yoga interested in integrating yoga as a lifestyle. For those considering yoga as a career, the 100-Hour Immersion training is part of the 200 hour basic teacher training AND counts toward elective hours for the 300 hour advanced teacher training!


Engage an in-depth study of the physical asana practice and how the Universal Principals of Alignment™ support the exploration of the human form in a safe, playful and skillful manner. Go back to basics and progress through the more advanced postures while learning how to prevent and heal injuries.


Deepen your practice through focused study of yoga history and philosophy. Learning how yoga aligns with your personal philosophy and background. Receive a full overview of how the philosophy of non-dual Tantra relates to our modern everyday life. Study two of the most informative ancient yogic texts, Patanjali's Yoga Sutras and The Bhagavad Gita. Begin or deepen a regular practice of meditation.


Practice combined with greater awareness leads to enhanced life skills. Embrace your yoga to know the beauty within your heart. Translate what happens on your mat to experiencing the goodness in all of life!

Course Format

There is enough content in this 100 hour course to keep the avid student of yoga engaged in learning for years!   It is broken down into four or five segments to facilitate integration over a period of several months. The intention is to help the student create yoga as a lifestyle while engaging in the support of a community of like minds and hearts.

Yoga Anatomy: Optimal Blue Print and how to identify it within yourself and others

The Universal Principles of Alignment: The 5 Elements and The 5 alignment principles. The importance of Krama - order and flow.

Yoga Philosophy:  Patanjali's Yoga Sutra as they relate to the different philosophies of yoga and application to modern daily life. Vimaraha Shakti: The reflective power of the Universe. Shiva and Shakti unfold and enfold.

Yoga Anatomy: The main muscles of the hips and legs. Applied anatomy through physical inquiry of hands on adjustments and asana.

Pranayama: Review the bhandas. Breath retention. Viloma and Kapalabhakti.

Meditation: Practice and explore.
