Alignment-based yoga is easily integrated with other healthy modalities within your wellness toolbox. Meet yourself where you are and support your individual needs regardless of age, gender, condition, health history and physical ability. This workshop will focus on a number of physical conditions such as back pain, sciatica, pelvic floor dysfunction, and plantar fasciitis.

  • Learn how a system of Universal principles based on the wisdom of aligning with nature can help you identify various imbalances in yourself and others. 
  • Practice physical techniques such as postures and breathing exercises to bring balance to specific areas such as feet or hips as well as the body as the whole. 

It doesn't matter if you're already intimately familiar with the human physical and emotional bodies or just starting to learn the basics, you'll walk away from this training with effective techniques you can use immediately.

Though based in an ancient tradition, yoga as a wellness tool is a relatively new occupation gaining awareness and recognition as an effective modality. A new paradigm is emerging at a rapid pace between the medical and yoga fields due to public demand and greater attention to yoga research.

Healthy bodies function as a whole. For example, when addressing low back discomfort, it is necessary to look at how the foundation of the feet. Information and practices will progressively build through the training. participants are encouraged to participate in the entire weekend. 

Friday 21 

  • 6 PM - 8 PM: Creating awareness and building a new relationship to your body. Functional anatomy and group discussion will tailor the weekend to the needs and interests of the group.  

Saturday 22  

  • 9 AM - 12 PM: Feet & Knees 
  • 2 PM - 6 PM Hips

Sunday 23 

  • 9 AM - 12:30 PM: Low Backs

About Tiffany

Teaching yoga since 1997, Tiffany is a Certified Anusara Yoga Teacher. She is recognized internationally as a leader, innovator and healer. She brings tremendous depth and passion to guiding students to cultivate a deeper bond to empowered living.

Tiffany has been working with the healing arts as a nationally licensed body-worker, certified life coach, shamanic practices and radical self exploration for almost three decades! One of her talents lies in making learning accessible for the layman as well as the seasoned practitioner. She is a former ballet dancer and an avid mountain sports enthusiast; she understands the human form and brings a fresh and deeply integrated approach to empowering others to thrive in their bodies and their lives.

Refund Policy

By signing the Credit Card Authorization form you give Tiffany Wood Yoga permission to charge your card for the balance 30 days prior to retreat start. If, in case of payment by wire transfer or check the same payment schedule applies.

Please note our cancellation policy:

  • If you cancel 60 days or more before the event start date, you will be refunded 80% of your registration fee.
  • If you cancel 15 to 59 days before the event start date, you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.
  • If you cancel within 14 days or less from event start date, you forfeit the entire deposit registration fee.
  • Alternatively, you can apply 100% of your registration fee towards a future Tiffany Wood Yoga retreat if you cancel 15 days or more before the event start date.
