The Cultivation of Desire

Weekend Overview

Step into alignment with the wisdom of your soul's desires to deepen the fulfillment of your best life. Each session will explore how the elements of desire hold the key to balance and joy. Learn how to listen to the voice of desire in ways that harness this potent resource rather than being in conflict with it.

One should cultivate desire by means of desire. One should cast desire into desire. Abiding in desire, one should stir the world. ~Vamaka-Ishwara-Tantra

The Body is the Gateway

Yoga's more ascetic traditions have typically looked upon the body as an inconvenience or an obstacle to joy. It was the body-positive Tantrikas that promoted seeing the body as the doorway to enjoyment. ~Georg Feuerstein

This retreat will guide you through physical practices that will explore your innate power to thrive in your body, meditation practices to focus your mind, and self-inquiry practices to clarify the delight of walking the path YOUR LIFE~

Peace and joy is our goal. Whatever we do, may our actions bring us to our goal. ~ Swami Satchidananda
