Format

This comprehensive 100 hour teacher training is offered in five segments designed to help the student integrate the skills of teaching yoga.

• Students looking for a full 200 hour teacher training must also complete the Anusara Immersion: 100 hours of additional study dedicated to learning and embodying asana, yoga philosophy, pranayama & meditation, anatomy, & yoga as a lifestyle.
• The 100 hour Immersion is taught as a separate course is available through the Anusara School of Hatha Yoga staff listed at Anusarayoga.com 

Mentoring and Practical Teaching Hours

Experience is the best teacher! All teacher training students must participate in teaching a Basics Class practicum and will receive mentoring and feedback. Each trainee will be assigned a mentor creating a special dynamic designed to enhance the success of embodying the curriculum & applying it in real time. Licensed teachers from the Anusara Yoga Utah community will offer expert guidance and feedback to help guide the newer teacher towards greater joy and success in the practicum process.

200 hour Certification & Licensing

The Anusara School of Hatha Yoga (ASHY) recognizes graduates of this program as Anusara Elements Teachers and allows teachers who do license with ASHY to utilize the name Anusara Yoga in marketing. Yoga Alliance recognizes graduates of this program.

Anusara® School of Hatha Yoga™ Elements Licensing:

• Students must complete the 100 hour Anusara Yoga Immersion and this 100 hour Anusara Yoga Teacher Training
• The Immersion & Teacher Training may be completed with any Certified Anusara Yoga Teacher
• Completion of the 100 hour Immersion & 100 hour teacher training qualifies the student for Anusara Elements™ licensing with the Anusara School of Hatha Yoga

Yoga Alliance 200-RYT:

• Completion of the 100 hour Teacher Training and the 100 hour Immersion qualifies a student to register with Yoga Alliance.
• Completion of ANY portion of the 100 hour Teacher Training can be applied as Continuing Education (CEUs) with Yoga Alliance.
