General Info

John provides individuals and organizations with a process and structure for difficult conversations that creates empathic connection to work together to respond to the challenges we face. He is a co-creator of the international Mediate Your Life (MYL) training program, which integrates the work of Compassionate Communication (Nonviolent Communication, NVC) with mindfulness and a mediation framework. The MYL approach provides communication skills and mediation "maps" to efficiently navigate difficult conversations, conflicts, and breakdowns in collaboration.

The training, coaching, and facilitation/mediation creates an environment of psychological safety, trust, and cooperation in which people can more effectively tap collective intelligence, respond to challenges, and reach new possibilities and solutions.
