Tip of the Month: Remember to Breathe!

Feeling stressed, panicked, anxious, annoyed, stuck in your head--out of balance?? Have you been sitting at your desk so long time that your shoulders are up around your ears??

Bring your breath to the rescue! Practice taking deep, slow breaths down to your pelvic floor.

  • Place your hand on your belly and feel it expand as you breathe.
  • Close your eyes and count your breath up to ten. Inhales are odd numbers; exhales are even numbers.
  • Repeat 2 more cycles

Practicing this for even a minute every day is a great start in connecting to your Self. Practicing this throughout the day will help you stay calm, grounded, and will help you focus on what you need to accomplish. Practicing this when you can't sleep will put you into sweet dreams in no time!
